it's really easy to explain away things with reasoning. but the problem with the ice theory is that this dude obviously didn't read the story. he just knew that jesus walked on water. obviously not that as soon as jesus got to the boat it was on the shore like a few miles away. and obviously he forgot the part about peter.
i mean, sure--some things the bible leaves pretty vague. some things it does help to research the context of the writing. and yes, sometimes things that we can't explain are just hard to accept.
but god already knows that. that's why he calls us to believe. right?
